High Trenhouse has the advantage of being isolated and self-contained. Because we cater only for one group at a time, it is comparatively safe. With spacious grounds set in beautiful, accessible countryside, you have ample room for safe, healthy seclusion – ideal for business or leisure group-retreats.
Our team is well trained and our procedures, in line with Government guidelines, help to keep everyone safe.
Although social distancing has reduced our capacity, by using both our buildings we are able to welcome fully serviced groups of up to 17 people with 1 metre plus social distancing (10 people at 2 metres).
Social Distancing Measures
Visitors will be responsible for maintaining social distancing. Everyone should wash their hands frequently with soap and water or using the sanitising gel provided in critical locations. Door handles, handrails, light switches and table surfaces will, of course, be cleaned regularly.
Doors will be fastened open during working hours and corridors will be one-way only where possible. For safety, visitors will generally use the toilets in their personal bedrooms.
Until restrictions are lifted, Bennett’s meeting rooms will be used for all meetings, yoga and group activities. Northend’s meeting room is repurposed as the main dining room. Visitors will be allocated a table for the duration of their stay and will be served individually.
To ensure the safety of visitors and our hospitality team, we will not be servicing rooms during your stay. We recommend that you bring your own toiletries. Of course, if you omit to do so, they can be provided on request.
Risk assessments determine that High Trenhouse can operate safely by utilising the whole of our site for any one group. This gives lots of space indoors and, of course, you have marvellous potential for expanding into the great outdoors.
