Let’s build a more wholesome society!
The pandemic gives us an opportunity to make sure we do not revert to “business as usual”. We invite you to join us in this series of on-line interactions to stimulate co-creation.
Mike Chitty – Smashing Leadership Paradigms
In this session Mike will lead us through a process to re-imagine leadership. What it is, what it might be, and what it must become if we are to avoid the extinction of the human race in the next generation.
We will explore the implications for leadership and its development with a particular focus on the role of leadership in:
- Imagining better futures and the paths that might take us towards them – leadership as creative visioning
- Getting to grips with the current reality – leadership as pragmatic and real world
- Courageous action – the role of leadership in managing hope and fear
- Ethics – the exploration of how we might choose
We will also explore some of the ways in which the status quo captures innovation and new thinking, using it to reinforce current patterns; and what we might do about it.
This webinar was on Wednesday 22 July 2020 10.30-12.00
Mike is an experienced facilitator, trainer, coach and consultant. His approach is based on a belief that people only learn what they really want to learn – and often don’t want to learn what we want to teach them! As a consequence of this he focusses on stimulating curiosity and provoking exploration about ‘the direction in which progress lies’ for: Individuals and their relationships, Teams and their relationships, Organisations and their relationships and Systems and…yes…their relationships.
Mike has worked extensively in the public, private and so-called Third sectors in the UK. He has also worked extensively overseas
